The stay at the Royal Islander was a wonderful experience, especially
with the exceptional cleanliness and friendly staff. The only drawback was the occasional noise from nearby activities, but it didn’t detract much from our overall enjoyment. We loved having a market on-site for quick snacks and drinks during our stay.

awesome views near the beach and local eateries
The beachfront room provided stunning views, and the nearby marlin beach was just a pleasant stroll away, perfect for walking and enjoying the scenery. however, customer service at the reception could be better.

Nightmare stay!
Customer service was just awful. We had a leak in our bathroom ceiling and it took forever to get help. The noise was unbearable, and I had to fight to get a new room. The old hotel vibe wasn’t my thing either. At least the poolside snack bar had decent bites. But the sound insulation was terrible, too loud at night.

great amenities but room lacked attention to detail
The breakfast buffet impressed us with its rich selection of international and Mexican dishes. The pancakes were fluffy and fresh, adding to a delightful start to our mornings. Besides, the free rentals and activities made our family days enjoyable and engaging.
Our Double Standard Room could have used better housekeeping. Some areas felt overlooked.

The Double Standard Room was spacious, and the views were stunning. Honestly, I loved the comfortable vibe. The property is a bit older, but it has this cozy feel. The staff was super friendly, which made everything feel welcoming. Just a heads up, though, the fold-out beds were pretty uncomfortable. Overall, a nice place to chill out after a day in the sun.

Recommend it for solo travelers seeking comfort
The staff here were friendly , always checking in to make sure I was good. One day , I asked about local dining options and Luis was super helpful, even offering to make calls to see if there were spots with availability, it's little things like that that make it special.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but with the service and comfort, it felt acceptable.
